Giggles & Goggles
Where Lessons Are Fintastic! The goal at Giggles & Goggles is to make learning how to swim fun and educational for all ages.   All children learn at a different pace and we strive to work at the level of your child in a relaxed atmosphere.

I am excited to announce that registration will still happen for our 16th season at
Giggles & Goggles.
I will add a Google Form link here and on our Facebook page.
It will go live Saturday March 28th at 9:00 AM
It is an easy form and time stamped so I will know what order to schedule people.

Lessons will be offered in four half-hour blocks designed around your child's needs.  The focus will range from water adjustment for toddlers moving up until your little swimmer is ready for swim team.
You have the choice of private and semi-private (2 children) lessons, which start at age 3.

All lessons are taught at my home by Nancy, Lila or me.
We are located in West Des Moines, just a few blocks from Valley High School.

There is nothing better than having kids that can swim.  I am blessed all 4 of my kiddos had confidence in the pool at a young age. It allowed them to enjoy water activities with their friends growing up.

Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury deaths in children ages 1 to 4. Now, the American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending swimming lessons for toddlers. Remember Giggles & Goggles doesn't teach ISR.

The pool won't be the same with out Nancy, but Lila and Dilynn are ready to go, and will both bring a great energy to the pool! We make a pretty great team and we love teaching your little ones.

Wahoo for another summer of lessons!
First, I am still processing not having Nancy in the pool with me.
Second, I know Lu and Dilynn will be fantastic again this year.  Both were fantastic last summer, being on "Nancy's side", part of the day..now they will be owning that side of the pool.

Second, if you submit the form I will get it!! I may not get back to you for a week or so depending on the amount of forms filled out, but I will get back to you. We thank you in advance for understanding.

Week 1-3 evening spots fill up quickly. Please make sure to select all open times that work for you so we have as much information to work with as possible for each little fish.

On the form there is a spot called side by side which was confusing to a few in the test run. Side by side is if you would like a spot at the same time with two instructors for your kiddos. If you check this box that lets us know to look for a time in your preferred section where two of us are open.

Last, if you have comments or questions please add them at the end of the form! I won't be able to check email right away in the morning so I don't want questions to hold up your form submission

Swimming lesson signups will be online again this year. The google form for 2026 will be up on Saturday March 28th at 9:00 am.
We are on to the wait list entries.
